“Writing, at its best, is a lonely life.”
I like that quote because I am a writer, although my life is not entirely a lonely one.
I belong to a global family centered in Jesus Christ. I am a wife of 37 years, mother of 3 adult/married children and grandmother of 3 beautiful babes–admittedly lonely when they are not around.
I write fiction. My latest novel 90 Miles to Freedom, is the epic love story of a young couple tested by the Cuban Revolution and challenged in their struggle for freedom. It’s historical fiction, based on true events, many of which I learned about while researching this project. Currently, it is signed with Wheelhouse Literary Group–God bless Jonathan and Annette.
I also write on spiritual growth, on the writing craft and my journey as an author. Sometimes, I throw in a little bit on travel, politics and food with the occasional movie review. I love to speak to groups on these topics, or on any biblical theme and/or a specific verse from the Bible.
I would love to hear from you. What topics interest you? Let me know, by joining my email list below and receive my most current favorite recipe. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. By the way, in case you haven’t guessed, my signature color is RED.
Before writing full-time, I worked as an Executive Assistant for the Founders of an amazing organization. Check out their mission www.cotni.org.
My goal as an author and speaker is not only to entertain and educate, but predominantly encourage people in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We live in a lonely world where people forget how much God values and loves them. I believe at the core of our deepest need is a vibrant understanding of God’s love and His desire to be in relationship with us. From this stems everything we are, say and do. Therefore, my hope is always to strengthen the core.
Thanks for visiting. Never forget, Jesus loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Let me know what you think.
The CHOICE, Dear Reader, should you choose to accept it, is to opt-in for my e-mail list. Follow me on Twitter, like me on Facebook, or connect with me via some other equally great way. I am very social.
